Lisa Marie Presley's Final Resting Place Will Make You Emotional

When she died, Lisa Marie Presley was the sole owner of her family home, Graceland, according to ET. The home where she had the run of the place as a young child has become an icon for visitors for decades. Now, it will also serve as her final resting place. According to the Associated Press, Presley will be buried next to her son Benjamin Keough who died in 2020.

According to Express, Presley once said there was a spot in the family graveyard at Graceland waiting for her. The outlet reported that her 2003 song "Lights Out" spoke of her family's graveyard and how it would haunt her to see a spot left because it reminded her of her own mortality. Ever one for dark humor, Presley quipped one other idea for her life after death on the more macabre side. "I don't plan on anything. I'm sure I'll end up there ... Or I'll shrink my head and put it in a glass box in the living room. I'll get more tourists to Graceland that way."
