Allison Janney Kisses James Corden at Critics' Choice TV Awards

Get it, girl! Allison Janney nabbed more than just a statue when she took home the honor of Best Supporting Actress at the 2015 Critics’ Choice Television Awards on Sunday, May 31 — in addition to the award, she snuck in one steamy kiss with James Corden.

The veteran star, 55, was honored at the show for her work in the CBS sitcom Mom, and accepted the award from rising star Corden. The Late Late Show host, 36, announced the other nominees before saying, “This goes to one of the best actresses I’ve ever met: Allison Janney.”

The Masters of Sex star then shouted “Oh my god!” from her seat in the audience, embracing her tablemates before quickly making her way up to the stage.

Once she reached the platform inside of The Beverly Hilton in Angeles, Janney went straight for Corden. The longtime bachelorette took the Critics’ Choice Awards statue in one hand, and grabbed the British comedian with the other, laying a serious kiss on his lips.

Corden looked taken aback at first, but got into the steamy smooch, caressing Janney’s head as the two made out. The West Wing alum seemed thrilled with her additional prize after beating out Mayim Bialik for The Big Bang Theory, Carrie Brownstein for Portlandia, Judith Light for Transparent, Melanie Lynskey for Togetherness, and Eden Sher for The Middle.
